What SpaceX’s Q3 2026 Results Show

Super Intelligence is SpaceX’s renamed AI segment, covering cloud services, models, and applications such as Grok . It drove much of the quarter’s growth.

The key results were:

Revenue reached $14.6 billion, up 161% from $5.6 billion a year earlier, beating estimates of $12.7–$13.0 billion.

Net income was $4.4 billion, compared with a $1.1 billion loss in the same period last year.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $8.8 billion, up 306% year over year.

Diluted EPS was $0.35, well above consensus expectations of about $0.13–$0.16.

Super Intelligence revenue rose 830% to $7.56 billion, while Connectivity grew 69% to $5.25 billion.

Starlink consumer subscribers reached 13.6 million, and the company completed 35 launches.

Total capital expenditures were $19.59 billion, with $16.44 billion directed to AI infrastructure.

Connectivity, which is mainly Starlink, remained a core earnings driver. The Space segment rose a more modest 6% to $1.77 billion.

Analysts had expected revenue of roughly $12.7–$13.2 billion. Profit also beat expectations by a wider margin, while capex landed in line with elevated forecasts.

Management highlighted operating leverage from the AI build-out, according to the commentary. Analysts remain optimistic about Starlink’s long-term scale .

The CFO stressed capital efficiency and balance-sheet discipline, according to the company’s commentary on the quarter.

Can Heavy Spending Pay Off for Investors?

The answer depends on whether SpaceX’s spending converts into recurring revenue. Starlink’s subscriber growth suggests demand is strong, while AI infrastructure costs remain large. Investors will also want to see how quickly new capacity turns into paying customers.

SPCX last traded at $147.79 at 16:10 GMT-4, down $0.17, or 0.11%, from a previous close of $147.96, according to TradingView data .

After the results, shares rose in post-market trading to $150.13, up 1.58%, by 16:20 GMT-4.

A similar pattern followed the prior quarter, when a top-line beat was overshadowed by heavy capex and free-cash-flow pressure. Investors are looking for a different outcome this time.
