particularly well in September. Let's see how they fare in October. All right time to go deep on Nvidia. The tech spotlight is all about Nvidia which is hitting record highs today. Kiana Danial, CEO of Invest Diva and author of Triple Compoundi for dummies, is with me. So let's talk about Nvidia.you know, we're going to talk about some of the specifics. But it leads everything. I the indexes. Sometimes people don't realize how much they have invested in Nvidia. Talk a little bit about it. So N is fting because I've been invested in Nvidia since 2015 b it ex to AI. So Nvidia was in the right place at the right time when hardware became one of the most important key components in AI. And then so it was the leader. It still is the leader. But it seems like to me, in fact, that most people are like, kay, Nvidia is good news, like old news. Let's talk about something else that is moreexcin every index fund. And I think for a good reason, I don't think you can be overexposed to it because I don't think it's going anywhere. And you s think, with the run up that it's had in the new highs that it'sad, you still see opportunity in this. I actually think you have a buy. S again, not financial advice, but what I'm seeing is that first of all, frontier models like anthropic and and OpenAI, people are becoming more and more ned with the security piece of it. And therefore a lot of businesses are now going local. To have your own local AI, you're going to need hardware, the top tier hardware for that. Local AI is led by Nvidia. And so unless people say, hey, collectively, let's not let let's like stop using AI tomorrow, I don't think ia is. And in fact, I think its markete everyone's so scared about the hype and the bubble that they're scared to push it higher. So you did expre some concern on risk. Look, the one thing first of all,ou talked about OpenAI anthropic, maybe some of the risks they're facing, but also just, know, if the w stopped using AI, which is unlikely to your point, ri So the trajectory that we've seen for Nvidia being the leader, cat continue to have, you know, expansion? AI l rapidlI think the question for AI rapidly expand. I don't think people are going to sit tomorrow and say, hey, let's go back to fax machines. I think it's I think it's going to contin expand. And with Nvidia being the leader, yes, it has its competitors. On the hardware side, AMD and Intel are competing for the piece of the pie. B the pie is growing. It's a kind of pie that evy can gain 10 pounds kind of thing. So Nvidia has a bigger piece of the pie AMD, Intel. And on the consumer side, Apple with local AI is alsovings the leader. And the pie, in my opinion, is only growing because half of the world still n even as heavily consuming AI as like people in Amer you know. So there's a lot, a lot more. And when I think about N here at 237 and these new highs, you mentioned Apple. That's a competitor. AMD Intel. What do you think about that landscape that maybe they're trying to so. What happens there between those competitors. Are they just not the same. You said just the pie big. I what it is. The pie is so big and it's growing. And they have r example Nvidia is top tier in of quality is leading in terms of prestige. AMD has own fan base. Intel is a different. Apple is for peopleot they don't want to like they don't care if they're not five times as speedy. So they can just go and buy the apple pie or app box, if you will. And so I think at the end of t day, personally, I'm invested in all of them. A I double down also in the index funds that I invest in because I know you can say, oh, you're over concentrated. It's like, this is the future. Like what else? Like peoe like, oh,what'ss the next video? I'm like, it's still Nvidia. It's still Nvidia. That's interesting. I mean, what did you think of something when you saw the collaboration of all those tech titans right at the white House talking about their AI fears. And today we had Melius Research talking about Microsoft. And maybe they're going to be the adults When you look at all theto A different tech leaders, what does it tell you? So that fear makes me more convinced that people who are scared about the security sid AI are going to start looking more ande into, as I am personally local AI, what is local AI is when you're not in the cloud, you're not uploading your stuff to to and ChatGPT, everything is local in your own house. And for that you're going to need hardware like Nvidia, AMD, and Intel. A that is to me the way that we're going to combat this fear of AI, because thenu'e control over it. What do you think about the rate ronment? I a little bit of everything and sometimes, you know, I've heard sort of different things. I've heard, you know, tech goes up in arate environment. There are some historical data to prove that. But also when tech's doing a lot of borrowing or cyclical funding, does the rate environment hurt them? I mean, we have the ten year bond yield at the highest rate sincet closely? Does it matter to you in your thoughts? So I am more of a value investor. I like to buy a stock at a good price. Okay, so now I know t Nvidia just went up to all time highs crossed above all time highs, the rate and the so theeconomy e stock market. The economy be doing not very well. But when you're invested in the right category, that is going to be needed no matter what, deo anywhere. So no matter what's happening with the rates, no matter what's happening with what ultimately long term is is going to push the price of share of a company like Nvidia. Andgain, if you're looking at it long term, I don't think the demand is going to go anywhere and the supply is limit And th what ultimately eventually is going to impact the prices. Now, I'm not saying In fact, because of the cycle, it's probably going to push you to 50 and then it's going to drop back down. And that would be a great place to enter again. So if it drops that's a buying opportunity is what you're saying when you talk about the your the author of triple compounding for dummies. I mean, you think about just your tell us a little b about that? So we get some background on your thinking. You mentioned you're a value investor. You're looking for the compounded dollar. Just give us a glimpse on that. Yeah. So triple compounding is where you compound investing yours and understanding where really your risk tolerance is your willingness, your ability and your confidence in the aet that you're trying to invest in. And then obviously, as the more you learn about an asset, which is why people like you are going to play aart into that, when you educate the people, the confidence goes hr. Therefore, they can take higher risk. That is the first part of the compounding. That is the first compounding that happens. Understanding the asset you're investing in. The second part is actually having the income to invest in it. And then the third part is actually picking the asset that matches your risk tolerance and your financial goals. And overall, you still say you see demand it all goes away. I mean, when you talked about AI demand or just in in Nvidia in general, a final quick thought. Not financial advice, I am still pretty much bullish on the AI category. Yeah. Oh 's gooI understand you're not a financial advisor advisor, you're a believer in tech at this time, which is interesting. Thank you so mucs great to see
