Facebook whistleblower: AI companies ‘more proactive’ in addressing safety

I think the AI companies have been more proactive in trying to look at safety concerns. If you look at the things that I asked for 5 years ago, so this is things like having embedded observers inside these companies who have full access to data just as any employee would, that's what the AI companies are asking for today. I think there is an awareness today that if you don't have mandatory transparency, and that transparency can be potentially enforced via the industry.
