Amazon’s new $200 alarm clock

This is the new Echo [music] Time. It's a smart alarm clock and it's Amazon's attempt to get into your bedroom. The Echo Time looks like an oversized Echo Dot. There's no camera, just a big round screen. So, this is really designed to be a bedside table clock. The Echo Time has a night mode that removes the blue light and dims the screen down automatically. It then adapts for when you're going to wake up with a sunrise wake up feature. This takes each clock face and [music] simulates a sunrise by brightening the colors and bringing warmer tones [music] into the room. There's a special kids sleep mode, including story times and cute little graphics and animations that can gently guide your little ones into Dreamland. And then a variety of tones you can choose, including one of my [music] personal favorites, the guys from Top Gear. [clears throat] >> WAKE UP. WAKE UP. WAKE UP. THE ECHO Time has a neat feature that uses ultrasound technology that detects your breathing patterns and micro movements to determine the exact moment to wake you up. It's a $200 alarm clock and it's really quite big. Is that worth it?
