Now, it is a big day here at CNBC. As we approach the end of this show, an important anniversary. Big congratulations to the man sat right next to me, Steve. 25 years at CNBC, a quarter of a century bringing you the news and financial markets. So, your silver jubilee with CNBC. Congratulations. >> Yeah, um they haven't managed to get me out of the building. I actually walked in here a little bit longer than that. Um the Dow Jones, which used to own a bit of CNBC, but officially, yeah, 1st of October 2001. >> So, you've worked on a couple of the floors here. >> Uh yeah, fifth floor, sixth floor, and now they've got me in the basement. Yeah, they they they're trying to get me out the door slowly. >> Any highlights over the last 25 years? I know it's hard to recall because we interview so many people, but what highlights that stand out to you? >> You know, it's just been one big privilege. I think I look, I'm an ex-trader, and I thought working on the floor of the life market for 11 years with the silly colored jacket, I thought it was the best job any human being could have. And I've got to be honest, I think this is even better. >> I thought you'd say working with me has been one of the highlights. >> no, no, of course. No, no, working with you, working with, you know, uh Charlotte for these years, and the editors and others have had to put up with me for a very, very long time. Look, I'm a great believer that business news is dull. But, I think it's our job to make it entertaining, to make it accessible, to make it fun at times, to make it on the consciousness of people who wouldn't normally look at business news. And And that's what I try to do. And And yeah, I honestly I can honestly say it has been an unbelievable privilege, and I've loved every minute of it.
