The Cyprus Fintech Summit (CFS) returns for its 7th edition on 12–13 November 2026, held for the first time in Nicosia, at the Royal Hall Nicosia. Over two days, 60 speakers and 1,000 participants from banking, fintech, investment, government and diplomacy will discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping finance and how Cyprus can act as a gateway between Europe, India, the GCC, Kazakhstan and Emerging Africa. Thursday 12 November is dedicated to the Cyprus Fintech Summit, while Friday 13 November hosts the CFS Business & Investment Forum, followed by the Closing Party that evening. The event is held under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology, Invest Cyprus, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Municipality of Nicosia, the High Commission of India in Cyprus, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Cyprus, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), ISACA Cyprus and the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA).

“Cyprus has spent years building the right foundations: a strong financial services sector, a growing tech scene, and close ties to Europe, the Gulf, India and Africa. What it needed was one place where all of these meet,” said the organisers, Andreas Orphanos (CEO, novusalpha), Andreas Livadiotis (CEO, XValley Technologies) and Xeni Anastasiou (CEO, Brain Cube Communications). “That is why we are bringing the Summit to Nicosia, to the capital and to the heart of government, and why we added the Business & Investment Forum. We want people to leave with more than ideas. We want them to leave with partners, investors and real deals. Fintech, business and investment belong in the same room, and for two days in November, they will be.”

The Summit opens with Avinash Mudaliar, Co-Founder & CEO of HT Labs, Hindustan Times, speaking in Cyprus for the first time. His keynote, “The Attention Economy Is Dead. Welcome to the Habit Economy” , is followed by a conversation about his life and career with the Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus. The day continues with Gary Roy Woolley and Andreas Orphanos of novusalpha on “ Deobanking: There Can Be Only One Future of Banking. Who Will Own It?” , and with Prof. Steyn Heckroodt of Harvard Business Impact and AI specialist and futurist Dr. Tariq Qureishy asking “If You Had €100 Million to Invest, How Would You Reshape Fintech?” . Dr. Alexander Apostolides of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance will present the first results of the study “Fintech in Cyprus: The Landscape & Future Trends” . Panels and fireside chats with IBM, Newcytech, PwC Cyprus, Nuvei, Bank of Cyprus, ISACA Cyprus, NetShop, Logicom Solutions, Dynamic Works, Texodus and Fortinet will examine banking beyond agentic AI, compliance and the AI attack playbook financial institutions must now defend against, while Dr. Qureishy and Prof. Heckroodt return to discuss how AI is reshaping jobs, skills and leadership. Demetris Skourides, Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus, closes the day with a keynote on Cyprus’ AI Strategy 2032.

The Business & Investment Forum on Friday focuses on investing through Cyprus. H.E. Mr. Manish, High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, leads the session on the Cyprus–India–EU corridor and joins Marios Tannousis, CEO of Invest Cyprus, on the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). H.E. Mr. Nikolay Zhumakanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, and Kazakh Invest present the Cyprus–Kazakhstan corridor, H.E. Mohammed Saif Helal Mohammed AlShehhi, Ambassador of the UAE, speaks on capital, AI infrastructure and strategic investment between Cyprus and the UAE, and H.E. Fawaz A. Alshubaili, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, on two-way investment with the Kingdom. A dedicated session looks at Emerging Africa, from the DRC to South Africa. The Mayor of Nicosia, Invest Cyprus, the Research and Innovation Foundation and the CCCI then come together for “From Diplomacy to Delivery: Activating Cyprus’ Growth Corridors” , before Ascentium, the Research and Innovation Foundation, CISI, Athlos Capital and Alpha Bank close the Forum with “Financing the Corridors: Mobilising Capital for Growth”.

“The Cyprus Fintech Summit brings together professionals across industries, government, entrepreneurs, investors, VCs and thought leaders to discuss some of the most pressing challenges the industry faces today,” said the Chief Scientist, Mr. Skourides. “Cyprus’ AI Strategy 2032 focuses on productivity and customer experience, and on unlocking value across industries and the public sector. This event goes beyond the traditional incentives, such as the IP Box and R&D tax, to talk about something even more important: how to build partnerships with investors, partners and government that help you harness technology in an environment that meets the guidelines and policies, while supporting your growth. It’s about leveraging technology to scale the experience, scale the benefits and scale your business. Cyprus is the partner for your business, and your gateway into the EU.”

The Summit will also bring the space sector to the stage, with Professor George A. Danos, President of the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO), presenting the opportunities emerging from the International Space Innovation Centre hosted in Cyprus by the CSEO. “The space sector is thriving, and in the next few years it will grow into a trillion-dollar economy,” said Professor Danos. “ At the Cyprus Fintech Summit we will share the opportunities coming from our International Space Innovation Centre here in Cyprus: our plans, our investment opportunities, and how we will be bridging the whole world into space innovation.”

Alongside the public programme, a closed executive roundtable led by Philokypros Roussounides, Secretary General of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will bring together a select group of business leaders, investors and institutional representatives to turn the corridor discussions into concrete next steps for trade and investment. “Business happens when the right people sit around the same table and speak openly,” said Mr. Roussounides. “The closed executive roundtable gives decision-makers from Cyprus and key international markets the space to discuss real barriers, real opportunities and real projects. The Chamber has always worked to connect Cypriot businesses with the world. This roundtable is about making sure the growth corridors we talk about become partnerships that Cypriot companies can actually use.”

The Cyprus Fintech Summit runs on Thursday 12 November from 09:00 to 18:00 and the CFS Business & Investment Forum on Friday 13 November from 13:00 to 18:30, both at the Royal Hall Nicosia, followed by the Closing Dinner at 19:00 at the Royal Hall, Nicosia. The €150 all-access pass covers both days, the full programme, networking, food and drinks, and the closing party, and is available at www.cyprusfintechsummit.com .
