Bitcoin (BTC) remains in a mixed technical position below $84,000, with improving short-term buying interest meeting resistance as institutional demand and macroeconomic uncertainty weigh on sentiment.
Recent withdrawals from US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds have reduced buying support from those products.
Higher Treasury yields and tensions in the Middle East are also influencing investors’ appetite for risk.
Traders Union’s latest analysis favors near-term consolidation rather than a clear directional trend.
ETF withdrawals and Treasury yields test demand
According to CoinGlass , net outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs have weakened near-term institutional buying through the funds.
At the same time, rising US Treasury yields increase the opportunity cost of holding Bitcoin compared with interest-bearing investments.
Middle East tensions add uncertainty, prompting investors to reassess their positions as geopolitical developments shift market sentiment.
These pressures complicate Bitcoin’s recovery even as its longer-term technical structure remains supported.
Bitcoin trades between short-term moving averages
On the four-hour chart, Bitcoin sits above its 20-period moving average at $82,984 but below its 50-period average at $83,994.
That positioning suggests the recent rebound has improved the shorter-term picture without fully overcoming nearby resistance.
$82,296 provides an immediate support reference. On the daily chart, Bitcoin remains above its 200-day moving average at $72,017, preserving a stronger longer-term structure.
Because these indicators cover different timeframes, they describe distinct aspects of the trend rather than a single support cluster.
Bitcoin’s Relative Strength Index stands at 58.44, indicating buying momentum above the neutral midpoint.
Bull/Bear Power also points to buyers controlling intraday momentum.
However, CCI and Stochastic RSI show overbought conditions, suggesting the rebound may encounter resistance or pause.
MACD, ADX, and the Awesome Oscillator are neutral in the analysis, offering little confirmation of a strong prevailing trend.
The combined readings support a mixed outlook: buyers have gained traction, but the indicators do not yet establish a sustained breakout.
Bitcoin forecast favors a $78,962–$86,768 trading range
The BTC/USD daily chart favors Bitcoin trading between the $78,962 support and the $86,768 resistance over the next two to three trading days.
With the RSI and MACD signals approaching neutral levels, there is a 50% probability of an upward breakout and 50% of a downward breakout. Thus, indicating no directional advantage in the near term.
A sustained move above the upper boundary would strengthen the bullish scenario. If that happens, Bitcoin could rally towards the $90,000 psychological level for the first time since January.
However, losing immediate support at $82,296 would weaken the rebound, while a break below $78,962 would invalidate the projected trading corridor.
Market analysts believe that the current consolidation could provide a foundation for another advance if risk appetite holds.
However, ETF demand, Treasury yields and geopolitical developments remain important variables for Bitcoin’s next move.
