Bernstein’s Danilo Gargiulo: We do not think potential Starbucks takeover of Chipotle will happen

So even though our initial reaction has not been particularly positive on the news, meaning we do not think this is going to happen, there could be some strategic reason behind while maybe Starbucks might be exploring an acquisition of Chipotle. I mean Starbucks has been struggling a little bit to go into the afternoon day part with a solid food platform. Similarly speaking, Chipotle primarily operates into the lunch day part, dinner part. You know, there could be some potential opportunity to using the beverage occasion as a cross-selling into Chipotle. But again over here we're trying to stretch the argument a little bit.
