Did you ever picture ordering a burrito bowl at Starbucks? Because that might happen one day. Financial Times out with a new report saying that Starbucks is looking into buying Chipotle. That's right. The one common thread between the two is Brian Nickel. He led Chipotle for 6 years before taking over at Starbucks. Under his leadership over at Chipotle, the company reemerged from that E.coli crisis. You might remember that. But since he announced his departure from Chipotle, well, the stock is down 35%. Now, analysts don't necessarily think that Chipotle is going to sell coffee or Starbucks would be selling bowls, but one analyst, City's John Tower, does say that each could take best practices to help both platforms improve. Now, don't get too excited because Starbucks did tell Yahoo Finance that the company doesn't comment on rumors or speculation and that they are laser focused on the back to Starbucks strategy. And the price tag could be pretty hefty. One analyst saying that this could be about $50 billion and it would be the largest restaurant acquisition ever. But would you order a burrito bowl at Starbucks?
