XRP rebounded from a recent low near $1.32 and traded around $1.37 on October 14, according to CoinMarketCap. The recovery followed several volatile sessions for XRP , with the token gaining roughly 1% over 24 hours after defending the $1.32 area , which marked its lowest level during the latest pullback.

The rebound comes as Standard Chartered begins institutional custody support for Ripple USD, or RLUSD, issued on the XRP Ledger. The service gives eligible institutional clients access to regulated custody infrastructure for the stablecoin, while the bank is also working with Ripple and LMAX Group on planned collateral integration. The development expands institutional infrastructure around XRPL, although it does not establish that RLUSD custody caused XRP’s price recovery .

The immediate test is whether XRP can extend the rebound after recovering from recent lows. Holding above the $1.32 support area would keep the short-term recovery intact , while renewed selling could put that level back under pressure as traders assess whether the latest bounce can develop into a broader reversal.
