The US has been a reliable supplier to the world at a time when it needs it. To my my comments earlier today, and I think it uh it it it would be unwise for the US to create questions in the minds of our allies and our partners as to whether or not we'll be there with reliable supply when when times are difficult. And so there are other options. Uh and I think we've seen the the release of strategic stocks in the US, some relaxation of specifications that allows more diesel that was only used off-road to come into the on-road pool. some there there's some constraints on how you can use ships in the US that have been relaxed which allow us to get supplies to markets that that need it most and so those are the kinds of actions that allow the market to work which is the best way to get supplies to where they need it and and and that's the input that we've been providing to the administration >> how much of the answer lies in Venezuela do you think potentially >> longer term I think Venezuela can be part of a more secure energy system uh Venezuela is coming off a relatively low starting point there's not been much investment in in the country. We've been there for most of the last 100 years. Uh we have a good position there that we intend to grow, but that takes time. And the amount of production that Venezuela can add over the next short period of time is dwarfed by the amount that's at risk in the Middle East.
