BingX EU, operated by
MEGE zweite GmbH, has secured a licence under the Markets in Crypto-Assets
Regulation from Austria’s Financial Market Authority. The authorisation is
expected to allow the company to offer regulated crypto services across the
European Economic Area, subject to applicable passporting requirements.

London’s trading industry is coming home!

The licence comes as
the EU’s transition to a common regulatory framework for crypto-asset service
providers reaches its final stages. In June 2026, Finance Magnates examined how
the end of the transition period would affect crypto firms operating in the
region , including those that had not secured the required authorisation.
National transition arrangements determine how existing providers move to the
new framework.

BingX EU Licence Covers 29 EEA Countries

The licence covers 29
EEA countries, giving BingX EU a regulatory basis for expanding its services
across the region. MiCA establishes common requirements for crypto-asset
service providers, including rules on authorisation, business conduct and
consumer protection.

Daniel Lai, Chief
Executive Officer of BingX EU, said the company’s priority was to provide
European users with a “trusted and locally regulated trading experience”.

“Operating under MiCA
will allow us to deliver our services under a clear regulatory framework,” Lai
said.

He said the framework
would allow the company to serve European users while meeting regulatory
requirements.

BingX EU is now MiCA-licensed in Europe. 🇪🇺

BingX EU Follows Bybit and KuCoin in
Europe

BingX EU said it would
continue working with the Austrian FMA and other European regulators as it
prepares to launch its regulated services across the EEA. The company has not
specified a launch date or provided details of the services it plans to offer initially
through its regulated European entity.

Other crypto exchanges
have also secured MiCA licences from Austria’s FMA. In May 2025, Bybit
received authorisation to offer crypto services across 29 EEA countries
through its Austrian operations. In November 2025, KuCoin
EU Exchange GmbH also secured an Austrian MiCA licence covering 29 EEA
markets, excluding Malta.
