TL;DR
Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF recorded $3.55 million in net inflows during the latest trading session, despite the downturn in the crypto market.
The fund added exposure to approximately 2.71 million XRP and was the only XRP ETF to attract net capital inflows during the session.
Demand for XRP-linked exchange-traded products continues, although inflows have slowed and the token’s price remains under pressure.
Franklin Templeton recorded fresh inflows into its XRP ETF as the token’s price continued to face market volatility. The fund attracted $3.55 million in net inflows during Thursday’s trading session, according to data published by SoSoValue .
That amount represents approximately 2.71 million XRP and came on a day when other ETFs tracking the token recorded no net capital flows .
Although demand for these products has weakened in recent sessions, investors continue to use exchange-traded funds to gain exposure to XRP without having to purchase and custody the cryptocurrency directly.
Franklin Templeton Is the Only Fund to Record Inflows
The $3.55 million attracted by Franklin Templeton’s fund accounted for all net inflows into XRP ETFs during the trading session.
This contrasts with the slowdown in investment in these products, which have lost much of their initial fundraising momentum amid market fluctuations.
According to SoSoValue, the recorded inflows also represent additional exposure to approximately 2.71 million tokens .
However, net ETF inflows should not necessarily be interpreted as direct token purchases by the asset manager. These flows represent capital entering the investment product .
Institutional Demand Does Not Guarantee a Market Recovery
The inflows came even as XRP remained in a downtrend , alongside a broader correction affecting other major cryptocurrencies.
Continued inflows into XRP ETFs indicate that some investors remain interested in the token despite recent losses. Nevertheless, the amount attracted by Franklin Templeton is relatively small compared with overall market trading activity .
Analysts believe sustained demand for these products could support a recovery in XRP . That would require inflows to continue over several sessions and coincide with improving market conditions .
For now, Franklin Templeton was the only XRP fund to record net inflows during the session , while the other products ended the day with no changes in their capital flows.
