Tello’s latest promotion is a solid option for anyone looking to shrink their monthly phone bill without sacrificing the basics. For a limited time, new customers — and existing Tello customers adding a new line — can get the carrier’s 10GB plan for $10 a month for their first three months. The plan normally costs $15 a month, so the deal saves customers $15 total during the introductory period.
The 10GB plan includes unlimited talk and text, plus 10GB of monthly data that can also be used for mobile hotspot use. That should be plenty for lighter users, students, or anyone who mostly relies on WiFi but still wants enough data for maps, music streaming, social media, and the occasional laptop connection. Like Tello’s other plans, it’s prepaid and contract-free, so there’s no need to sign up for a lengthy commitment.
How to get this Tello deal
Signing up for Tello is blissfully easy, especially compared to complex big-name providers. Here’s how to score the ongoing discount:
Visit the Tello Plan page and select 10GB and Unlimited minutes. Click “I want this plan”
Log in with your existing account or create a new one, providing your name and email, and setting a password.
Select the “New Tello line” dropdown option, then enter your ZIP code to receive a new phone number. You can keep your existing number after checkout through your online account settings.
Complete checkout.
The deal applies only to newly activated lines and runs through November 9, 2026. After the first three months, the plan renews at its usual $15 monthly price. Customers can bring a compatible unlocked phone to Tello and transfer an existing number, though changing, downgrading, or canceling the plan before the promotion ends will result in losing the discounted rate.
From now until January 31, 2027, Tello is also bundling in free roaming in Europe.

The $10 10GB plan offer is available to new and existing Tello customers through November 9. It’s a rare chance to save, and while $5 off may not seem like much, it’s actually a sizable discount that the carrier doesn’t typically offer.
Is Tello good?
Tello is great, especially for budget-conscious shoppers, travelers, and younger family members. It’s definitely on the barebones side of coverage — you only get the data and minutes. Because of that, Tello keeps costs low for its customers, and you can cancel at any time.
