House of Doge Inc. and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, House of Doge (U.S.) Inc., have agreed to remove the DOGE-related branding from their corporate names before December 31, 2026. The requirement follows the mutual termination of their previous trademark license with the Dogecoin Foundation and MadeUpNumbers Ltd. The companies must also stop describing themselves as the Foundation’s “Official Corporate Arm” or “Official Commercial Partner.”

A new non-exclusive trademark agreement still allows the U.S. subsidiary and its affiliates to use the DOGECOIN and DOGE marks for three existing 21Shares products and for future regulated or tokenized investment products specifically approved in writing by the Foundation. The replacement license does not permit DOGE branding in the companies’ corporate names and grants no exclusivity or official-partner status , while preserving a narrower route for approved tokenized products linked to real-world asset tokenization .

The termination agreement also requires the U.S. subsidiary to pay the Foundation $400,000 when sufficient funds become available, either in cash, shares or a combination. The immediate deadline to watch is December 31, when the corporate name changes and removal of the former partnership designations must be completed. House of Doge Inc. said it is evaluating a broader corporate rebrand.
