TL;DR

Mirae Asset Securities and Grvt have entered into a collaboration to develop tokenized financial products.

Grvt plans to use the exposure gained through these instruments in its Grvt Earn service, subject to applicable regulatory and eligibility requirements.

Both companies will explore the possibility of introducing tokenized Treasury securities, corporate bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Mirae Asset Securities has entered into a collaboration with Grvt to develop tokenized financial products , starting with Grvt’s subscription to funding notes arranged by Mirae’s Hong Kong subsidiary.

Grvt acquired these instruments, issued under the structured notes program of an affiliate of Mirae Asset Securities (HK). The transaction marks the companies’ first joint initiative to bring traditional financial products to digital asset platforms .

The South Korean firm belongs to a financial group that managed more than $1 trillion in client assets worldwide.

These initiatives remain in the exploratory stage . Any future launches will depend on regulatory approvals, compliance reviews, and the necessary internal authorizations.

Grvt also intends to use the exposure obtained through the subscribed instruments in Grvt Earn , its yield-generating service. The company clarified that any such use will be subject to applicable requirements and managed independently .

Access to Grvt Earn is restricted to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions. Yields are variable and not guaranteed .

Expanding Operations

Mirae’s Hong Kong subsidiary has undertaken several digital asset initiatives during 2026. In January, Mirae became the first South Korean securities firm to issue digital bonds in Hong Kong .

In April, Mirae Asset Securities (HK) received approval from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to offer digital asset trading services to retail investors . It was the first South Korean-owned brokerage to obtain that authorization.

Later, in July, the company launched MAPS , an application that brings together permitted traditional financial products and digital assets in Hong Kong.

The collaboration with Grvt will allow the companies to explore how fixed-income instruments and other tokenized assets can be incorporated into blockchain-based investment services. For now, the subscription to the funding notes is the only transaction announced between the two companies.
