NEAR Protocol expanded into the Solana ecosystem through an integration with Sunrise , making the token accessible through wallets, decentralized exchanges, and aggregators such as Jupiter and Raydium .
The integration uses NEAR Intents to facilitate cross-chain asset transfers. Both platforms plan to support additional tokens and integrate Intents directly with Sunrise.
The announcement triggered a rise in its price. According to CoinMarketCap, the token is trading at around $5.07 , up 14.06% over the past 24 hours . Its market capitalization stands at approximately $6.64 billion , while daily trading volume exceeds $1.4 billion .
The expansion also coincides with Mert Mumtaz , CEO of Helius , joining the NEAR Foundation Council, where he will help guide decisions on products and ecosystem development.
