Obligate has integrated its oTFY yield product into Morpho , allowing investors to use assets linked to international trade finance as collateral to borrow stablecoins.
The product provides exposure to physical commodity financing transactions managed by TradeFlow Capital Management . Through Obligate, these transactions are structured as digital securities issued under Swiss law.
oTFY holders can borrow on Morpho without selling their positions , allowing them to maintain exposure to the returns generated by the underlying trade finance transactions.
The infrastructure uses RedStone’s pricing data to value collateral and support liquidations when necessary. RockawayX , a firm with more than $2 billion in collective assets under management, sets and monitors the market’s risk parameters .
Since its launch in July 2026, oTFY has reached approximately $26 million outstanding on Solana and expanded to Ethereum. During the same period, the underlying trade finance bonds grew from $40 million to $170 million .
Matthias Wyss, CEO of Obligate, explained that the integration allows investors to access liquidity by using financial instruments backed by goods in transit as collateral, in a market traditionally dominated by banks and institutional investors.
