Instead of relying on the computational process used in Proof-of-Work systems, Pixagram uses Proof-of-Brain, a mechanism that allocates rewards based on posting, commenting, and voting activity.
Community reward distribution: 70% of newly issued PIXA goes to community-voted content, with 60% to authors and 40% to curators after seven days.
Staking and governance mechanisms: Authors can receive Pixa Power, which determines voting weight and supports governance participation, and Pixa Supra (PXS) , a unit referenced by an oracle to an agnostic purchasing power index (without a fixed dollar value). Curators can also receive Pixa Power.
