Vancouver, Canada – October 27, 2026 – TheNewswire – Redwood AI Corp. (CSE: AIRX ) (OTCQB: RDWCF ) (Frankfurt: Y0N , WKN: A422EZ ) (” Redwood ” or the ” Company “) is pleased to announce that Louis Dron, Chief Executive Officer of Redwood, and Kyle Loree, Quantum Security Lead at Redwood, will participate as panelists at the 3rd Annual Vancouver International Security Summit (Summit), taking place October 28-29, 2026, at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. 1 Messrs. Dron and Loree will contribute to separate discussions examining artificial intelligence strategy and the transition to post-quantum cryptography, two areas of growing importance to Canada’s national and economic security.
The Vancouver International Security Summit, themed “ Advancing Economic Security Through Resiliency, Sovereignty, and Readiness, ” is intended to bring together government officials, security experts, policymakers and industry participants to discuss evolving national, economic and technological security challenges. The 2026 program includes discussions addressing critical infrastructure, digital sovereignty, emerging technologies, cybersecurity, defence and economic resilience.
On October 28, 2026, from 11:35 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. PST, Mr. Loree will participate in Session 4A – “Post-Quantum Cryptography: The Implications for National & Economic Security.” The panel will examine the transition to post-quantum cryptography in response to the potential for cryptographically relevant quantum computers to compromise current encryption standards. Discussion topics are expected to include the protection of government systems, critical infrastructure, defence communications and sensitive data, as well as the risks associated with “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks. The panel will also consider migration strategies, public-private collaboration and sovereign capabilities required to support Canada’s preparedness for the transition to quantum-resistant security.
Mr. Loree is a post-quantum cybersecurity specialist focused on the intersection of quantum computing, technology governance and risk-management policy. In addition to his role with the Company, he leads the threat-modelling team for the IEEE P1947 Working Group on Quantum standards, contributing to work addressing the security considerations associated with the transition to quantum technologies.
Later that day, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST, Mr. Dron will participate in Session 7A – “Canada’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.” The panel will examine the development of a Canadian AI strategy centred on digital sovereignty, trustworthy systems, secure infrastructure and responsible innovation. Discussion is expected to address areas including data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory clarity, public-sector adoption and the development of domestic technological capacity as Canada considers how to expand the use of artificial intelligence while protecting critical systems and maintaining accountability.
“ Artificial intelligence and quantum computing are developing along different technological paths, but both are forcing governments and organizations to reconsider how security, sovereignty and resilience are built into the systems they depend on. Canada has an opportunity to approach these transitions with security considered at the architectural level rather than as a response after technologies have already been deployed. Participating in both discussions allows Redwood to contribute practical perspectives on how emerging technologies can be adopted while protecting the data, infrastructure and institutions that increasingly rely on them, ” stated Mr. Dron.
