Republican Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas has disclosed substantial stock sales involving major technology companies.
In this line, a Periodic Transaction Report filed with the U.S. House of Representatives Clerk lists sales executed between October 2 and October 27, 2026.
Sessions reported selling between $250,001 and $500,000 in Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL ) stock. The filing also records an Alphabet Class C (NASDAQ: GOOG ) stock sale valued between $100,001 and $250,000.
Meanwhile, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN ) was featured in two separate transactions. The first, dated October 2, involved between $100,001 and $250,000 in shares. A second sale on October 27 fell within the $15,001 to $50,000 range.
Other disclosed transactions included between $15,001 and $50,000 in Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.B ) stock and between $50,001 and $100,000 in Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT).
Additional transaction information identifies Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA ) among the stocks sold, with a reported value range of $15,001 to $50,000.

The broader disclosure summary describes 32 sales across 28 tickers, with estimated aggregate transaction values ranging from approximately $1.4 million to $3.3 million. These figures represent disclosed value ranges rather than exact proceeds.
Big technology stock’s miss
The sales have drawn attention partly because Big Tech stocks have featured prominently in Congress trades.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi , for example, disclosed NVDA call-option purchases worth between $1 million and $5 million in November 2023. Subsequent disclosures also showed additional NVIDIA transactions, highlighting lawmakers’ exposure to the chipmaker’s stock.
The reported concentration of sales in prominent technology companies has prompted questions about their timing, particularly as major technology firms approach earnings announcements.
For instance, Microsoft and Alphabet are scheduled to report on October 28, Amazon on October 29, and Apple on November 2, 2026.
The activity is also of interest because Sessions serves on the House Financial Services Committee, including its Capital Markets Subcommittee, which oversees issues related to financial markets.
However, the disclosure alone does not establish that Sessions acted on confidential information or violated any rules.
Congressional stock trades can involve spouses or household accounts, and filings do not necessarily identify who directed each transaction.
