TLDR:
XRP whale outflows on Binance fell to a five-year low, with the 90-day average reaching $49.7 million.
Whale outflows averaged $3.5 billion in February 2025, when XRP approached its cycle peak near $3.30.
CasiTrades identifies $1.27 as support and $1.65 as the resistance level needed to strengthen its bullish case.
Crypto Patel sees higher targets if XRP closes above $1.55, but those projections remain conditional on price action.
XRP whale outflows on Binance have fallen to their lowest level in five years, according to market analyst Darkfost.
The 90-day moving average has dropped to $49.7 million, returning to levels last seen in October 2021. That compares with $3.5 billion in February 2025, when XRP traded near its cycle peak of $3.30.
Meanwhile, XRP is trading around $1.30, down 0.81% over 24 hours and 4.81% over seven days, according to CoinGecko. Analysts are watching whether the token can hold nearby support and break resistance as whale activity remains subdued.
XRP Price Prediction: Whale Outflows Signal Weaker Buying Interest
Darkfost said Binance whale outflows surged during February 2025, with several daily spikes exceeding $10 billion. The 90-day average then stood at $3.5 billion, reflecting far stronger activity around XRP’s cycle high.
Since then, whale outflows have steadily declined. Darkfost said the latest average of $49.7 million marks a five-year low, matching October 2021 levels. The analyst suggested whales may be waiting for a more attractive entry price before returning in force.
XRP whale outflows hit a 5-year low
Since its peak at around $3.3, XRP has seen a clear shift in whale outflow dynamics.

Lower outflows do not automatically mean the XRP price must fall. However, Darkfost argued that subdued whale interest could leave the market short of buying volume needed to sustain an advance. The analyst also noted that sentiment can reverse when trading interest and volume are depressed.
The metric shows a sharp change in whale activity, but it cannot guarantee XRP’s next price move.
At press time, CoinGecko’s data shows XRP with roughly $1.296 billion in daily trading volume. The token’s weekly dip shows that the market is yet to establish a clear recovery.

Can XRP Hold $1.27 and Break the $1.65 Resistance?
Analyst CasiTrades said XRP found support at $1.27, a level tied to the local 0.618 Fibonacci retracement and an Elliott Wave target. The price is now testing resistance near $1.30, according to the analyst.
CasiTrades said repeated tests of $1.27 remain possible, describing a market bottom as a process rather than a single event.
A break above $1.65 would strengthen the analyst’s bullish scenario and point toward a $2.40 target. If support fails, CasiTrades identified $1.10 and $0.87 as possible downside levels.
ripple:native $1.27 HELD. NOW WHAT?!
XRP found support right at the $1.27 target, the local .618 Fib retrace and a key target for W2 in Elliott Wave Theory. We’re now testing the first local .118 resistance near $1.30. A good initial sign that the bottom may be in!

Crypto Patel outlined a longer-term bullish scenario, conditional on higher-timeframe candles closing above $1.55.
The analyst identified $3.67 as resistance and floated macro targets between $10 and $20, while naming $0.98 as a stop-loss threshold. Those levels are analyst projections, not confirmed outcomes.
The immediate levels are clearer than the long-range forecasts. XRP is near $1.30, with $1.27 support and $1.65 resistance shaping CasiTrades’ setup.
Meanwhile, Darkfost’s data points to sharply reduced whale activity. A sustained recovery would need price strength and renewed demand; low outflows alone do not confirm a bottom.
