NexGen Investing. Really excited for this conversation as we welcome in Omri Stier, VP and GM of Data Sns at SimilarWeb. As we try to unpack and explore the unknowns of anthropic, as this company, of sg discussion point for, you know, all of its different relationships with the already public companies like Nvidia. But it potentially going to be a public investing choice here So, Omri, I know you guys recently published a looking aome of the data and trends that you're seeing. I'm curious wha some of the takeaways were. Hey, thanks for having me, And great to be here. I think it's one of the most exciting reports we got to work on recently. And it's not just one number, younow, it's a mix of different numbers that are talking about and explaining what's going on the company. Right now. We're seeing growth not only in the website visits to Claude, but it's also about how many people visit theirse their mobile apps. So the monthly active users in their m app is growing by 17 X over the last year, reaching 150 million users of their app. And it's not only that they're also taking share from their competitors. So they grew from 2% to 9% market share in the last year. They're growing their signups, they're showing their retention over time an their corporate enterprise logins over time. This is very exciting numbers to look at and it's changing every month.t's some of them are growing. Some of them are actually plateauing. o track not just one number, but actually the full picture of wh going onh anthropic. your published data within that report, it appears very clear that from a market share standpoint, Claude and Anthropic are winning marke e fr. And we know that they're looking to, you know, potentially become a public company ahead of some ofir private peers. How important is it that they' kind of the leader there, the winning they're accelerating the fastest, I guessthe best way I could put it versus their peers as we speak right now. Yeah. So right now they're not the biggest, but they are accele really quick. And I think it's not only that because if you look at they're accelerating, it's actually organic. They're not paying for their clients. They're not paying for their users. They'reually growing organically. We did see a bigjus and what they advertised there, but it kept on growing even after. So it's not just one time event. It's actually growth over time without paying a lot for their users. Their public relations is doing very well and without spending a lot of marketing. And so we're actually seeing this growth not only taking share, but actually being organically growing. And it's also their users are sticking with them more. So I think it's a, it tells you a story about the product quality of what they're building. Because if people come in and you buy the traffic and, you know, first time use of cloud, and then youtay withfor a long period of time, that means that the product is actuallyng. And those habits are daily habits. Monthly habits are very, very impo for this type of product, this type of AI mar right now, when you look at this space and you try to, you know, assess some of the trends you're seeing from how consumers interacting with anthropic or jus broadert's space, and maybe try to compare it to other things that consumers use. What are the retention numbers look like relative to kind of traditional software? Is favorable for these companies, or do they have some work to do t in that line of things? So it seems like it's stabi with real traditional software compared to what it was a year ago or two years ago, it's about between 60 to 80% in the in this market. ChatGPT, by the way, is actually has a better retention than cloud at this moment. But it is a very important statistic compared to softwars also traditional software. Whenever it's growing the retention numbers are actually sometimes dropping. And what we see here only that the retention is growing by, you know, from 25 to 45% in a six, six month rete But it's also there. New users are six times more. So they're not only gaining stickier users t only also getting many more users, which tradi software is very hard. It's very hard to do traditional most softwares do not get right or, you know, they're either improving one or the other but not both of them at this space and rate when we're trying to assess things. And some of this will come out as we get more information from the company as we approach the deadlines. But is there any way to kind of gauge maybe what the revenues kind of look like froms usage at this point, or, or I'm assuming less of thers are fully paid than the ones who are using more the freemium models. I am curious if you have any idea of how muchthey'rf real paid, paid users. Yeah. So it's a great it's a great question. And when youe intose paid users, you actually have to look at different. Places. So one of them could look at cloud code and howy of them are going into cloud code and actually using it into the page. And, and usage of cloud code that's growing. You can look enterprise logins. So how many enterprise clients are t actual getting? And that is a very interesting sign. Weee in the recent year before it was n growing as fast. But we see now that it's growing at a 30 to 40% month over month rate in the last since beginning of the year of the enterprise logins. Another thing is you can look at the usage page socan act see how many people visited their usage page. Usage page is, you know, I'm getting worried about usage when I'm reaching my tokens limit or when need to upgrade my token limits. And that i growing. So I think you need to look at manyfe mobile app in order to understand how many people are actualcting using it every day in order to really predict companies performance or KPIs. It's not just one numbe that youeed to include in the models. You need to include many more right now. You know, in 2026, we haven't yet seen the numbers th anthropic have released. We had a leak of the S-1ieces of it yesterday, but it was mostly 2025 numbers we see up until August and September is coming up. So the numbers are g . time and the more recentver numbers is very, very imp orders going on, what's going to happen in the future as well. Yeah, magine this is a very fast changing space as well as new entrants are, are winning and, and stumbling and all, all sorts of things. So we really appreciate what you and the team at SimilarWeb are putting out, and we look forward to the latest stuff as you get it. Omri
