Whenever I show this car to little kids, I always open the doors and they absolutely freak out because it looks so cool. It's really the defining characteristic of the top-of-the-line Lamborghini. But the headline for this car has to be the motor. And it's an exposed element, a 6 1/2 L naturally aspirated V12. And you can see on the motor that they write the firing order of the cylinders. It first fires cylinder one, then seven, then four, then 10, then two, then eight in that scrambled fashion. It's all out of order. That's why it's called the Revelto. That means scrambled in Spanish. That motor, by the way, combined with three electric motors throughout the car, two on the front and one on the rear axle, makes 1,01 horsepower. It is maddeningly fast. Even though it's a lot heavier than its predecessor, the Lamborghini Aventador weighed 400 lb less in its final version. This thing as it sits weighs 4,290 lb. But it feels as precise as a scalpel, and it's very difficult to keep it to speeds of less than 100 miles an hour or more. The good thing is I probably won't ever get tickets with this because I'll never be able to afford it. Neither will you likely. It costs, as it sits, $815,000 with multiple $25,000 option boxes checked. It is incredibly expensive. And yet, it is one of my favorite cars of all time. It is one of the most amazing driving experiences I've ever had in my life. And I drove a Bugatti Chiron on the track. Tune in to my podcast to hear more about it. It's called Bloomberg Hot Pursuit with Hannah Elliot.
