The cut to 200 ms minimizes slippage on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), favors the execution of real-time Web3 applications , and optimizes smart contract interaction, consolidating the rollup’s leadership within the Ethereum environment.
Starting with this implementation, node operators, RPC providers, and integrated protocols must synchronize their services with the new millisecond cadence to take advantage of the network’s native speed without generating infrastructure overcosts.
