Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire – October 21, 2026 – Bighorn Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Bighorn”) announces that it has completed its Fall 2026 exploration program at the Loljuh Porphyry Copper-Gold Project (the “Loljuh Project” or the “Project”), located approximately 40 kilometres south of Smithers, British Columbia.

The program was designed to build on historical exploration and on results from the Company’s 2025 field program. Work focused on refining copper-gold targets identified through geological mapping, rock sampling, soil geochemistry.

Highlights

Infill soil sampling was completed over five target areas at 25-metre line and station spacing.

Three prospective areas were hand-trenched and sampled to evaluate surface mineralization and geological controls.

A newly identified copper occurrence was sampled in the eastern portion of the Project.

Samples have been submitted to Activation Laboratories Ltd. (“Actlabs”) in Kamloops, British Columbia. Results will be released once they are received and interpreted.

Fall 2026 Exploration Program

The program focused on advancing targets generated by historical work and by the Company’s 2025 field program.

Infill soil sampling was completed over five target areas to improve the definition and continuity of existing anomalies. Three additional areas were hand-trenched and sampled to better understand surface mineralization and its geological controls.

One trenched area covers a newly identified copper occurrence in the eastern portion of the Project. This represents a new area of interest for future exploration.

All samples have been submitted to Actlabs for analysis. The Company will report results after the assay data has been received, compiled and interpreted.

Previous Exploration

Exploration on the Project dates back to 1969. Historical work includes geological mapping, geochemical and geophysical surveys, rock and soil sampling, and airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys. Seven mineralized zones are known, including the Loljuh Stock and Pete zones, along with multiple skarn, stockwork and copper-bearing vein occurrences.

The Company’s 2025 field program identified numerous gold, copper and zinc soil anomalies and returned several mineralized rock grab samples. These included sample 280685, which returned 2.49% copper, 65.5 g/t silver and 0.237 g/t gold, and sample 304134, which returned 0.58% copper. Grab samples are selective by nature and may not represent the mineralization hosted on the Project.

Loljuh Project Overview

The Loljuh Project is located in central British Columbia and is prospective for porphyry copper-gold mineralization. The property is underlain mainly by Lower Jurassic volcanic rocks intruded by the Loljuh Stock, part of the Lower Cretaceous Bulkley Intrusive Suite.

Historical and recent exploration has identified copper, gold and silver mineralization, along with anomalous cobalt, chromium and zinc values and a large hydrothermal alteration footprint. The Company considers these features consistent with a porphyry-style mineralizing system, and they support continued exploration across the property.

The Project is at an early stage of exploration. No drilling has been completed by the Company, and there are no mineral resources or mineral reserves on the Project.

About Bighorn Metals Corp.

The Company is an exploration-stage natural resource company engaged in the evaluation, acquisition, and exploration of mineral properties, with a view to advancing prospective mineral properties through exploration and evaluation.

The Company holds an option to acquire the Loljuh porphyry copper-gold project (the “Loljuh Project” or the “Project”). The Project consists of one claim covering a surface area of 1,656.73 hectares in the Omineca Mining Division of central British Columbia, Canada. It is approximately 40 km south of the community of Smithers and 32 km west of the community of Houston. The Project is prospective for porphyry copper-gold mineralization.

Geochemical work conducted in 2019 outlined several areas of anomalous gold and copper in soil. These surveys were widespread with lines 400 meters apart and samples taken on 200-meter centers. Rock sampling in 2019 also returned anomalous values of copper and gold from several sites within the plateau area. The aeromagnetic survey outlined several areas of alteration.

On October 5, 2026, the Company announced its proposed fall 2026 exploration program at the Loljuh Project. For further information, see that news release, available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca .
