US May Send Third Carrier Strike Group to Middle East

Well, that's for sure, Kate. We'd like to ask you as well. As the president likes to say that the war with Iran will end immediately after the midterms, The United States is still preparing for something else, it seems, with news that a third aircraft carrier group with some 10,000 men and women aboard, is steaming its way now toward the Middle East. This is the Teddy Roosevelt, that may soon be in theater deployed near Iran. Can you tell us anymore? That's right. So the Pentagon is sending a third aircraft carrier strike group. There are already two positioned in the region, and this one would add up to 10,000 more troops in the region, of course, giving the president more options when it comes to military action and more firepower in the region. They're expected to arrive by the end of November. Trump has said that he could resume striking Iran after the midterm elections. He's made this this comment publicly.
